Intensify the Fight Against Smuggling, Commercial Fraud, and Counterfeit Goods

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed **Official Dispatch No. 82/CĐ-TTg on intensifying efforts during the peak month of combating, preventing, and pushing backsmuggling, commercial fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property right infringements.

During this peak month of combating, preventing, and pushing back smuggling, commercial fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property right infringements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed:
Ministers, heads of agencies, and Chairpersons of provincial People’s Committees across Vietnam to promptly detect and strictly penalize violators.
They must also strictly deal with officials, public servants, and officers showing signs of ethical degradation, corruption, negative acts, protectionism, or aiding and abetting lawbreakers.

The Prime Minister also requested the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations to:
Continue close coordination with ministries, sectors, and localities.

Propagate and mobilize businesses and citizens to actively support and responsibly participate in the peak month and the ongoing fight against smuggling, fraud, and counterfeits.

This aims to detect problems early and combat/prevent violations right at the grassroots level.
Fight against fake, counterfeit, and low-quality goods.

He stated that Vietnamese media agencies also need to:

Increase coverage and steer public awareness about the dangers of these problems.

Condemn and criticize negative acts and irresponsible behavior that lead to consequences.

This will contribute to boosting and enhancing the effectiveness of the nationwide movement to prevent and combat smuggling, commercial fraud, and intellectual property right infringements.

Đẩy mạnh đấu tranh buôn lậu, gian lận thương mại và hàng giả

Thủ tướng Việt Nam, ông Phạm Minh Chính, đã ký Công điện số 82/CĐ-TTg về tiếp tục đẩy mạnh cao điểm đấu tranh ngăn chặn, đẩy lùi tình trạng buôn lậu, gian lận thương mại, hàng giả, xâm phạm quyền sở hữu trí tuệ.

Trong tháng cao điểm đấu tranh ngăn chặn, đẩy lùi buôn lậu, gian lận thương mại, hàng giả, xâm phạm quyền sở hữu trí tuệ. Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính yêu cầu bộ trưởng các bộ, thủ trưởng các cơ quan, chủ tịch ủy ban nhân dân các địa phương Việt Nam kịp thời phát hiện, xử lý nghiêm các đối tượng vi phạm, cũng như các cán bộ, công chức, sĩ quan có biểu hiện suy thoái đạo đức, tham nhũng, tiêu cực, bảo kê, tiếp tay cho các đối tượng vi phạm pháp luật,…

Ông cũng đề nghị Ủy ban Trung ương Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam và các tổ chức thành viên tiếp tục phối hợp chặt chẽ với các bộ, ngành, địa phương trong tuyên truyền, vận động cộng đồng doanh nghiệp, nhân dân hưởng ứng tích cực, tham gia có trách nhiệm vào tháng cao điểm và trong công tác đấu tranh chống buôn lậu, gian lận thương mại, hàng giả để phát hiện sớm, đấu tranh, ngăn chặn ngay từ cơ sở. Đấu tranh với hàng giả, hàng nhái, hàng kém chất lượng.

Ông cho rằng các cơ quan báo chí, truyền thông Việt Nam cũng cần tăng thời lượng và định hướng dư luận về những nguy hại của vấn nạn này; lên án, phê phán những hành vi tiêu cực, thiếu tinh thần trách nhiệm để xảy ra hậu quả, từ đó góp phần đẩy mạnh và nâng cao hiệu quả phong trào phòng, chống buôn lậu, gian lận thương mại, xâm phạm quyền sở hữu trí tuệ trên cả nước…
