Dismantling the powdered milk production ring fake
The Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, has prosecuted and temporarily detained eight individuals for the crime of producing and trading counterfeit food and violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences, according to the newspaper Phap Luat published in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Vietnamese authorities, from August 2021 until now, the aforementioned individuals have established Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Group Nutritional Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to produce and trade powdered milk.
To date, this production line has manufactured 573 brands of powdered milk for people with diabetes, kidney failure, premature infants, pregnant women, etc., which have been produced and sold by the above company, generating nearly 500 billion VND in revenue over approximately 4 years.
However, through actual inspection, the milk produced by the two companies does not contain these substances, and the quality is below 70% of the declared level.
The defendants admitted to removing some raw materials and replacing them, adding some additives. The police agency determined that the powdered milk had quality indicators for some substances below 70% of the declared levels, sufficient to classify it as counterfeit.
The investigation also revealed that all financial and accounting activities of Rance Pharma and Hacofood were managed by Cuong and Ha—two of the eight individuals recently prosecuted—who exhibited numerous signs of serious violations of accounting regulations.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security, Vietnam, to be strictly prosecuted according to the law. Triệt phá đường dây làm sữa bột giả
Cơ quan Cảnh Sát Điều Tra, Bộ Công an Việt Nam đã khởi tố bị can, bắt tạm giam tám người về tội Sản xuất, buôn bán hàng giả là thực phẩm và Vi phạm quy định về kế toán gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng, theo báo Pháp Luật xuất bản ở TPHCM.
Theo cơ quan chức năng Việt Nam, từ tháng 8-2021 đến nay, những người trên đã thành lập Công ty cổ phần Dược quốc tế Rance Pharma và Công ty cổ phần Dược dinh dưỡng Hacofood Group để sản xuất, kinh doanh sữa bột.
Đến nay, đường dây này đã sản xuất 573 nhãn hiệu sữa bột các loại dành cho người bị tiểu đường, suy thận, trẻ sinh non, phụ nữ có thai… đã được ha công ty trên sản xuất, bán ra thị trường, đem lại doanh thu gần 500 tỷ đồng trong khoảng 4 năm.
Tuy nhiên, qua kiểm tra thực tế, sữa của 2 công ty trên sản xuất không có những chất này, chất lượng đạt dưới 70% mức công bố.
Các bị can khai nhận đã bỏ một số nguyên liệu đầu vào và thay thế, bổ sung thêm một số chất phụ gia. Cơ quan công an xác định, sữa bột có chỉ tiêu chất lượng ở một số chất đạt dưới 70% so với mức công bố, đủ điều kiện để xác định là hàng giả.
Qua điều tra cũng cho thấy, toàn bộ hoạt động tài chính, kế toán của Công ty Rance Pharma và Công ty Hacofood đều do Cường và Hà – hai trong số tám người vừa bị khởi tố – điều hành, trong đó có nhiều dấu hiệu vi phạm quy định về kế toán gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng.
Vụ án đang được Cơ quan CSĐT Bộ Công an, Việt Nam tiếp tục đấu tranh, làm rõ để xử nghiêm trước pháp luật.
